Under legendary Hall of Fame coach Barry Alvaraz, Rich Thompson was a record setting and All Big Ten place kicker for the University of Wisconsin, followed by two years as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers.

He then launched a successful career in staffing and human resources, joining the Adecco Group, a Global Fortune 500 company, moving up through the organization to run operations of some of the most successful regions of the company. Rich later took over training and talent for the globe for Adecco and also led all of HR for a $10 billion region of Adecco, covering North America, Latin America, United Kingdom and Ireland, before starting Xtra Point Group.
